Mr. Masha’allah Shakeri, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan, on invitation of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industries attended a meeting with local traders, dated Saturday, April 10, 2010. The President of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industries in his welcome address highlighted existing commercial  co ordinations among Iran and Pakistan, as well as he chalked out various opportunities to expand this coordination between two brotherly Islamic states.
Mr. Shakeri in his speech while discussing Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project and Iran’s offer to provide 1000mw electricity, referred to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s consistent policy to assist Pakistan in development and stability.
In the end he also gave necessary answers to the questions of the participants.  
The traders and the Chamber of Commerce members thanked Mr. Shakeri for Iran’s efforts to find a solution for Pakistan’s energy crisis.
