Mr. Shakeri, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan, met with Mr. Munawar Saeed Bhathi, Additional Secretary (United Nations & Economic Coordination), Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 30, 2011. In this meeting, Mr. Shakeri handed over a massage from H.E. Dr. Salehi, Foreign Minister of Iran, addressed to H.E. Hina Rabbani Khar, Minister of state for Foreign Affairs, thanking Pakistan for its support to Iran at the recent meeting of the U.N. Human Right Council.
The two sides also discussed and exchanged views about international cooperation between the two countries at the meeting.
