On Wednesday, October 5, 2011, Mr. Shakeri, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, paid a farewell visit to Mr. Naveed Qamar, Pakistan's Minister for water and power. In this meeting, the two sides discussed and joint projects and bilateral cooperation, especially in the electricity and energy spheres.

Mr. Naveed Qamar lauded and commended the efforts of Mr. Shakeri, during the past several years, for expansion of relations between Iran and Pakistan in the economic and energy fields.
