H.E. Dr. Salehi, Honourable Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who has come to Pakistan in order to attend the 18th Joint Economic Commission of Iran and Pakistan (held on September 8-9, 2011) had a warm meeting on Wednesday (September 8 , 2011) with all the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the Embassy of Iran in Islamabad.

At the outset, H.E. Mr. Shakeri, Honourable Ambassador, presented a brief report about the area of his assignment. Later, the Iranian Foreign Minister, in a speech, while referring to the importance of relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran with Pakistan and status of this country in Iran's foreign relations, engaged in analyzing the developments in the region, and about acceptance of the Revolution and thoughts of the Islamic System in the nations of the region. In conclusion, some of the personnel of the Embassy, too, gave their viewpoints with regard to bilateral relations of Iran and Pakistan.
