The flood catastrophe in Pakistan, and casualties and losses, incurred by it, have caused grief and sorrow to all the world Muslims, especially the Muslims in Iran.
For this very reason, numerous flights, carrying relief assistance from the Islamic Republic of Iran to Islamabad and Karachi, such as medicine, food-stuff and tents for sheltering the flood-affected people, has been put at the disposal of the friendly people and Government of Pakistan by the Government and people of Iran.
In order to express sympathy, and to acquire more information about the condition of the flood-affected people, a high-ranking delegation, headed by H.E. Mr. Najjar, the Interior Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with two representatives of the Honourable Leader, namely H.E. Ayatollah Ghayyouri and H.E. Ayatollah Rahimian, in the Red Crescent Society, and the Martyrs Foundation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will arrive in Islamabad tomorrow (September 3, 2010) for a period of two days to express sympathies with the relevant esteemed authorities of the friendly Government of Pakistan, so that while announcing its support for the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan with regard to this catastrophe as well as other incidents, it may stress its backing for the nice people of Pakistan.
