Managing Director of Petropars Company, Gholamreza Manuchehri said Iran's gas production would be increased by one billion cubic feet. He said Iran's daily gas production will reach 104 million cubic meters due to the launch of the last platform of phases 6, 7 and 8 of the South Pars gas field by the end of the current week. Manuchehri stated that at present, over 2 billion cubic feet of gas are being produced per day at 6-8 phases since each phase has the production capacity of 1.3 billion cubic feet of gas per day. He also said some 40,000 barrels of gas condensates and 1,600 tons of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) are being produced per day by gas produced from refineries of the phases. If the phases completely came into stream, some 104 million cubic meters of gas and 158,000 barrels of liquefied gas could be produced.
