In the afternoon of February 16, 2012, H.E. Mr. Ahmadinejad, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while leading a high-ranking delegation in response to the invitation of H.E. Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, Honourable President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, arrived in Islamabad in order to attend the trilateral session of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran.
H.E. Mr. Saeidlou, Iranian Deputy President for International Affairs, leading a high-ranking delegation comprising officials from the public and private sectors, visited Islamabad from February 6 to 7, 2012.
In connection with the 33rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, National Day reception of the Islamic Republic of Iran was held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the International Serena Hotel, Islamabad.
H.E. Mr. Alireza Haghighian, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan, accompanied by Dr. Firdaus Ashiq Awan, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting inaugurated the cultural and art exhibition depicting the works of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
