Mr. Masha’allah Shakeri, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan, attended a ceremony, in connection with the end of tenure of his office on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, with the presence of all Iranian diplomats and other personnel from the institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran resident in Islamabad, along with their family members at the premises of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In this ceremony, the Deputy Head of the Mission, and a number of the authorities of the Iranian institutions, in their speeches, lauded the services of H.E. Mr. Shakeri for the efforts undertaken by him, and wished success to him. In continuation, H.E. Mr. Shakeri, too, while referring to the significance of ties between Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, thanked the Iranian colleagues for their cooperation during his tenure of office.

In conclusion of the ceremony, gifts were given to H.E. Mr. Shakeri and his spouse by the colleagues as a token of remembrance.
