A delegation, headed by Dr. Mahmoud Salahi, Hounurable Governor General of Khorasan Razavi Province, comprising 45 economic and commercial managers and businessmen from the said Province during a visit to Islamabad,
discussed the matters related to further expansion and boosting of economic relations of Khorasan Razavi Province with Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
During this visit, the Governor General of Khorasan Razavi Province met with the Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, and the two sides discussed and exchanged views on expansion of economic relations between the two countries, duly stressing their serious determination for boosting bilateral relations.
Also Dr. Salahi also met with the President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as the representatives of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The two sides, in this meeting, held talks on the mechanism for expansion of bilateral commercial and economic ties.
It is worth-mentioning that members of the delegation, during joint meetings with their colleagues in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, reached an agreement concerning the formation of an 8-member joint council between Mashhad on one side, and Islamabad and Rawalpindi, on the other side, conclusion of the MoU on joint cooperation, visit of the joint trade delegation to Mashhad, and some of the joint trade and Industrial activities.
