The Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran is planning to hold the 18th International Exhibition of Press and News Agencies from 25th of October to 1st of November 2011 in Tehran with participation of various local and international media.
Its objectives behind holding the exhibition are expanding cultural ties among international press and news agencies, promoting interaction and showcase of their potentials, increasing media capabilities, creating long term relationship between media through signing of bilateral agreement, exchanging of views with other media on mutually important regional and global issues and above all establishing the Press Association World of Islam and awarding the selected scholars of International Peace & Justice Festival.
*Special notes for the guests participating:
1) The venue for the exhibition will be the Imam Khomeini Grand Prayer Hall (Mosalla).
2) The exhibition will be held from Tuesday 25th of October to Tuesday 1st of November 2011.
3) The opening ceremony will be on Tuesday 25th of October and the closing ceremony on Tuesday 1st of November 2011.
4) The first three days of the exhibition will be allocated to the press briefings and excursions.

6) Wireless internet connection will be available at the exhibition. The participants are kindly asked to bring along laptops to access the internet or to display images and pictures related to their media outlet.

8) Due to the seasonal climate and low temperatures at the time of the exhibition, the participants are advised to bring along proper clothing.
9) As some credit cards can not be utilized in Iran, it is recommended that the participants consult with the Iranian embassy at their home country about bringing credit cards or cash.
10) In order to comply with the dress code in Islamic Republic of Iran, female participants are recommended to consult with the Iranian embassy about appropriate clothing while in Iran.
11) It should be noted that as the objectives of the exhibition are to display and present press and cultural products to general public, the participants are requested not to bring any materials containing indecent content or pictures.

*The Organizer will undertake the followings:
1) Arrange free accommodation at Laleh International hotel in Tehran from 24th of October till 2nd of November 2011 for 10 days.
2) Provide transportation from Imam Khomeini Airport (IKA) to the hotel and vice versa at arrival and departure time.
3) Lunch and dinner at the exhibition venue or out according to the organized program.
4) Transportation from hotel to the exhibition venue and back.
5) Allocation of free of charge booths with enough space.
6) Designing of booths and prepare the required flags.
7) Allocation of wireless internet connection, PC and peripheral devices.
8) Accompany interpreters for the dear attendees.
9) Organizing additional programs for the dear attendees.
